I want to go back later and just re-read the good stuff. :)Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02706544792110129160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-75093724177163953262013-10-16T08:53:21.798-05:002013-10-16T08:53:21.798-05:00Thanks everyone, for your nice comments and congra...Thanks everyone, for your nice comments and congratulations! I do want to clarify, I'm pretty sure I didn't make this mistake, but it is "What, Me Worry?" and "What, Me Read?" not with the comma in the other place. I didn't want anyone to think I was misquoting Alfred E. Neuman! On Moby Dick, when I quit reading it the first time it was because I was outraged that there was an entire chapter on a rope (or a knot, I forget which). However, when I finally finished it, I found that what bothered me more was the "dialogue," i.e., Ahab's rants. But if you can listen to books (I have a problem with it so had to move on to the book), it was fairly painless for me to get started by listening to the Moby Dick Big Read: http://www.mobydickbigread.com/. You might try that if you want to have another go. The first part of the novel, in any case, is quite enjoyable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-4860663938050829012013-10-15T21:33:46.774-05:002013-10-15T21:33:46.774-05:00Good for you on reading Moby Dick! You have a great blog and I love the diversity of the books that you feature. Congratulations, too, on reading/finishing Moby-Dick. I am reluctantly putting it on my to-read list...I really want to read it but also find it intimidating.

CeciliaCeciliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12301050540646040225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-42983590349871066472013-10-15T18:01:22.923-05:002013-10-15T18:01:22.923-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Reve Counselinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13656108765666187099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-78715228171635255702013-10-15T15:35:20.608-05:002013-10-15T15:35:20.608-05:00The Secret Garden was the first book I read over a...The Secret Garden was the first book I read over and over as well...still to this day one of my favorites!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
