Sure, I understand. You are young you have the whole world open to you. You can be anything that you choose if you apply yourself and try hard to work toward that goal. But being a Vampire is not what it seems like. It’s a life full of good, and amazing things. We are as human as you are.. It’s not what you are that counts, But how you choose to be. Do you want a life full of interesting things? Do you want to have power and influence over others? To be charming and desirable? I agree that sometimes a movie can be better than the book, although I'm usually all "oh, I can't see that movie, I haven't read the book yet". (For this reason I'm the only one in the world who has never seen The Princess Bride.) I finally decided I was never going to read The Godfather, and finally watched the movie for the first time (and I'm over 50!) last weekend. Now I'm hooked and have to watch The Godfather II this coming weekend!Laurie Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00177559207735782406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-21304920233992547312015-03-04T15:18:35.543-06:002015-03-04T15:18:35.543-06:00By and large, I'm with you. While they may not mirror the book exactly, some are still done well and I love them but when they're done badly, they really go off the rails. It's one of my favorites. I understand why they made the choices they did, but I would've liked to have seen more of Lily in the movie--she was such a integral part of Andrea's life in the book, and hardly at all in the movie. Still a great movie though!Lori Breehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10703713875411084322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929369424588700011.post-68769539550287410172015-03-04T09:53:48.884-06:002015-03-04T09:53:48.884-06:00Stanley Tucci is the greatest!Stanley Tucci is the greatest!Library Educatedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11441826320547182219noreply@blogger.com
